Relay For Life is a community based, world wide fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Every year there are over 5,000 events held to raise awareness about cancer types, and raise funding to assist in the research and treatment so that those afflicted with the disease can live longer, healthier, happier lives. Second life is the largest virtual fundraising platform to host such an event raising more than $3,000,000 since 2005.
It's a heartbreaking disease that doesn't hide in the shadows, and has affected at least one family member or friend that you know. Members of our team are no stranger to see up front what cancer is and what it does to our loved ones, and for this reason we are fiercely supportive of this cause.
Please join us for our benefit performance, watch some of our favorite dances and throw a few linden in the kiosk, even the smallest amount will help. It's our unified goal to someday find a cure for every type of cancer discovered so every little bit helps! Hosted by Aryanna Draken.
