Fusion Dance Crew returns to the The Fusion Performing Arts Center with its latest show: WAKANDA. This show is loosely based on the movie The Black Panther. The talented Fusion Dance Crew member, Divine Law, provides a narrative for the show weaving the story to help follow the six dance routines through imaginative sets, costumes, dancing and of course music. The music for this show is provided by: African Percussion, Alex Boye,  Angélique Kidjo, Kendrick Lamar (2 songs) and, Ke$ha. We aim to entertain you this Saturday, August 18 @ 2PM SLT!

What is LoveFest?

LoveFest 2018 is the 7th annual HP Lovecraft Festival of Second Life. LoveFest schedules to occur 7-10 days around the birthday of our "patron author" HP Lovecraft - August 20.  This year's Fest will take place August 17-26, 2017, celebrating Mr. Lovecraft's 128th birthday.

Each year LoveFest prepares a full sim dedicated solely to this event, including:

The Kingsport Merchant Quarter and Waterfront:
    Kingsport, Massachusetts - a city out of Lovecraft Lore,
    known as a community of artists and artisans which thrives
    mostly from tourism.  Featuring dozens of stores of
    merchants from all across Second Life, the Regent Theatre
    with a full schedule of entertainment and activities for all,
    and waterfront wharves of market and other interests.

Adventure/Story Quest:

    Each year Lovecraft Festival prepares an adventure/quest.
    We are treading along "the Path of Madness" this year...

    Lovecraft Festival is thrilled to take on this new
    and extremely intriguing theme - inviting our guests
    to visit the notorious Arkham Sanitorium of Arkham,
    Massachusetts... in the spirit of HP Lovecraft... 
    being introduced to a particular inmate who has
    completely lost his mind, and possibly pursuing
    the clues that lead to discovering what drove this
    fellow insane, as well as learning what sort of
    unsettling trail is in this disturbed individual's wake... 

We hope you will take part in this year's Lovecraft Festival!

Elysium Cabaret "DANCING FOR BEARS"

Elysium Cabaret "DANCING FOR BEARS"

This is a dance show fundraiser in support of Animals Asia Foundation's "Honey Money Days" fundraising drive. All proceeds from this show will be donated to Animals Asia Foundation.

Jill Robinson founded Animals Asia Foundation (AAF) in 1998. The organization raises awareness of the inhumane methods used in bear bile, which involve bears living up to 25 years in small cages, with metal catheters inserted into their abdomens for bile extraction, or even open wounds through which the bile drips. The organization also works "to reduce the demand for bile in Asia by promoting affordable, effective and cruelty free alternatives."

AAF headquarters is in Hong Kong, with sanctuaries in Vietnam and China. AAF has rescued more than 500 bears. Please join us in helping Jill and AAF in their tireless devotion to putting an end to the horrific practice of bear bile farming. Today, we dance for the bears! Elysium Cabaret in The Empire Room on Copperhead Road sim.
