We have sweat and bared it all for you this season! At 7 pm we debut an early show sharing with you our very best dance performances, as well as brilliant new acts for every midnight show!
This Friday is the LAST show of this season folks and then we take a fall break!

DQ Calendar and more..
Hey everyone,
I would like to give a little attention to our DQ Calendar.
As you all know, this calendar is "just" one of the services Dance Queens offers.
I did choose this calendar, when i think it's more practical then the google calendar.
Of course this is my personal meaning... but fact is, how many shows i write on one day, it is still visible, and that's what i missed with the google one.
I'm sure there are bunches of other good calendars, but i was familiar with this one... so that's why i took it back then.
OK... enough about that!
Like I said before... The DQ Calendar is one of the free services from DQ.
I think it's good to share with others what shows we have, when and where and even post a poster and info.
We want to give that service and we try our best to do this as good as possible.
Though.... I would like to bring on, at we also have a life beside the DQ.
We have (like everyone else) RL, we have our own things on SL and even it maybe isn't always visible, to keep the Dance Queens going on, brings also a lot of work.
Therefor I would like to ask you this;
Do you have something, you would like to post on the calendar... or blog, please send you INFO in a good time!
I would say, latest the day before!
When you send us the info, send it in a note. Attach pictures, LM in the note together with the INFO, so its all on one place in our inventory.
Send a little message in IM, so we can confirm at we got your note.
And if you didn't hear back from us, then don't hesitate to write again... maybe we didn't see the message, maybe we crashed, even before our inventory was loaded... this is still SL!!
I have to mention, at during a day, i get several invites for shows, in the form of textures.
If there is no message attached, I take it as a personal invite, and not as something I'm supposed to post or add on the calendar.
Lets make it easy for all of us...
We would like to help you all... but you have to help us too, with make us clear what you want.
you can send your info for the Calendar or Blog to;
Babypea, Cherri and myself ZZ.
Do you want to announce something else then a dance show, then use the add boards at the Dance Queens Island.
It only cost 25 L a week, you can change it as often you like and put all the info in it, you like (have a look for yourself)

TONIGHT 7pm – LoveFest Creepy Burlesque for Autism
Elysium Cabaret performs dark and creepy burlesque at LoveFest 2015 to benefit Autism! In the spirit of H.P. Lovecraft, these dances will be a bit on the unusual side. Dress in vintage 1930s attire if you wish, or anything creepy monster or sci-fi, and come out to have some unique fun! All tips and proceeds go to AUTCOM, the Autism National Committee. Bring your friends and make an adventure of it!

The Second Life Lovecraft Festival (as hosted by HPL-RPG) was founded and first held in September, 2012, and has since been an annual event dedicated to the works and concepts of the granddaddy of “Cosmic Horror and Weird Fiction,” H.P. Lovecraft. https://hplrpg.wordpress.com/
This year’s Festival celebrates Mr. Lovecraft’s 125th birthday, and will be held August 15-23, 2015.
OUR CHARITY FOCUS – AUTCOM:
Since 2013, Lovecraft Festival has been pleased to raise support for AutCom – the Autism National Committee. To date, all of the festival’s vendor fees, as well on-site donations at the festival, have gone straight to AutCom’s coffers in order to help this agency’s mission of increasing awareness and education concerning Autism Spectrum conditions. In fact, one of AutCom’s board members is an active member of the Lovecraft Festival staff.

2015 FESTIVAL STORY QUEST ; The Heart of Llhao”:
This year’s Festival features a new task – coordinating a multi-sim “story quest.” This will be a sort of mystery quest with a distinct Lovecraft-themed bent and “Big Finale”!

Each “chapter” in the story will be at different “host sims” or parcels, and the story followers will be challenged with following clues and collecting evidence and items to track an ancient artifact stolen from the Miskatonic University. The story path will provide links that the questers must follow to reach the story’s inevitable end.

This is a stage play/musical of the Titanic adapted with Audacity to make a enjoyable play for Second life.
The Story line is also carried through with the Introduction to the next scene. The Show has eight Acts, the duration of the show is roughly about 40 mins .

Fusion Dance Crew presents "CINEMATASTIC"
The Crew was asked to pick a song from their favorite movie and develop a dance routine, and that's what they did!!!
Come see seven dance routines to music from the following movies: "Save the Last Dance," "Alien vs. Predator," "The Full Monty"...Ta Daaaah, "Happy Feet" (those cute penguins), "50 Shades of Grey," "Pocahontas," and that peppy movie "Footloose!"
Through Fusion Dance Crew’s enormous creativity, we present dance routines in our unexpected, but fun and exciting performance style... all performed to awesome music. We know you will enjoy the show... especially the music!!!

GUERILLA BURLESQUE FRIDAY

Join us at on Idle Rogue for the Guerilla Burlesque (SL) Revue. Two show performances scheduled for at 7 pm and midnight!
Each show will present seven hand-crafted dance performances that will be performed by a team of beautiful and dedicated dancers.
At 7 PM and Midnight Friday, Guerilla Burlesque plays to a full house! This is a fun show with a great audience, who cheer our dancers on as they perform dance interpretation, performance art and sometimes a little burly. It is one tight hour of glamorous costumes, elaborate staging and red hot music.
Let's end the week right with a little dance!
Doors open at 6 pm for the 7 pm show and 11pm for the midnight show!
Seats are limited so get there early for all the best seats!
