Imperfect Perle --- Unique Dance Show

PLUS!!  *Valentine's Day Masked Ball*

Two shows only!!  Elysium Cabaret has been invited to perform for KG Shine Productions in cooperation with the Linden Endowment for the Arts.  This special show will be held on the LEA2 sim in a glorious Baroque manor house, amidst exquisitely groomed gardens.  It will feature Baroque-inspired dances, some with a modern twist.  Step WAY back in time as you enjoy LA DANZA BAROQUE, The Imperfect Perle!!  Debuts on Friday, Feb. 14th at 9pm SLT with a repeat performance on the 28th.  Come dressed in your Baroque-best (not required) and then join us for the masked ball to follow!!

Madame Guardian Birdsong will be hosting a masked ball after the performance (Baroque attire requested for the ball) at her majestic estate in Winterfell.  WOW what a night to remember!

Spot On Group Formation System Now Includes the Soul Train Dance Lines!

Hi Dancers!  

We're shipping version 1.4 tonight of the Spot On Group Formation System which now includes the formations and recordings for the Soul Train dance line!  There's a recording for each amount of dancers, 3 through 8.  Watch the video here to see how SIMPLE and QUICK it is to use!  

Just have your friends play their own formations while they go down the center of the aisle and you'll be dancing like the Soul Train pros in 2 minutes!  See it in action:

Update to Spot On Group Formation System

Version 1.3 has been sent for the Spot On Group Formation System and now dancers can hop on a mover while it's in motion.  No more going half into the floor!  Use the Page Up / Page Down to adjust height but only at a stopped position.

Updates have been sent out but if you didn't receive yours, please go to the store and click on the vendor and choose Redelivery on the menu.

After a great Christmas Talent Show, I would like to repeat the talents shows.

The plan is to do a Talent Show every 6th week.

2014 on the calender and a new year for us all  I hope that the new year brings you all happiness and lots of  glorious moments.


I think when we move to a fresh year and new start it is natural to look back at the past year. in 2013 I had the great pleasure of interviewing  Aislynn Zimer, Karesinda Warwillow (eden) Taema Resident, Britt Derbyshire, Snow Mistwood, and Fiona Carter (Maia) Additionally 2  Free kindly agreed to let me interrogate them (I mean interview) about dance Sheik Al Oisans  (Master Oisans26 Foxtrot)  and Mistress Hope Chatterbox  I also  wrote 3 articles about dance and started the year off by having some dancers turn the tables on me and interview me.

CASTING CALL - SPOT ON Video - Soul Train Line Dance

Saturday, January 4, 2014 - 2 pm

Spot On Store

The Spot On Choreography Tools team asks for your help in creating a dance video similar to the line dance from the American television show Soul Train.  We will be using our Spot On Group Formation System with 16 positions (custom formations) and may do two or more videos.  It's a lot of fun and we hope people can come and help us make these videos!

If we have more than enough people, we of course will need to select those we feel best fit the scene.

Here's what we need:

    - Both men and women with 1970's clothes and hair - preferably mesh and please keep flexis to a minimum.  Take a look at Soul Train videos of the line dance to get an idea.

    - Please keep scripts to a very minimum - you will be dancing on Galilla's HUD entirely on one song but on other songs, you will       need to play a dance from your inventory while going down the center (see video).  Please have current MOCAP dances ready       to play from your inventory.  Medium to fast beats.

    - No crashtastics!  This will involve a lot of people so we can't wait for people who crash a lot, sorry.
   
    - Please do not change skin colors for this.  Be who you are normally please (just dressed in 70's)
   
    - Be able to spare about an hour to be with us.
   
We thank you for your help and look forward to Saturday.  It should be a lot of fun!
