Winds of Sahara Kicks Cancer's Ass!

SoCo, Winnie, Jo

Winds of the Sahara is hosting a fundraiser show for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides  Against Breast Cancer on 10.22.17. We are calling this our "Cancer Sucks" show and the sets are dedicated to all of the colors of cancers, though breast cancer is the most prevalent female cancer.  Some of the cast have had other cancers as well, so we want to bring awareness to all cancers.  T-shirts that say Cancer Sucks are available for 1L and they are Omega appliers and we are also having a raffle for a 1000L gift card to Trompe Loeil for all of you furniture hounds.  Come and join us at 5pm SL on Sunday and wear your shirt proudly! All tips will go directly to the American Cancer Society through kiosks.

Here's Your Ride to The Show!

  1. Last night was the most overwhelmingly awesome moment I have ever had in SL...for everyone who danced...from more than one dance venue; the survivors, caregivers, and more backup dancers that I would have though possible...we can't thank you enough. This started out a couple of weeks ago with a few of us just being pissed that we had cancer...again...for 2 of us... It was an amazing night made possible by amazing people. Thank you all! That amount of Lindens is enough to pay for a family to stay at a hope lodge for a week, free, during treatment. From the bottom of my heart...thank you.
