Cabaret Provocateur

Saturday, November 7, 6pm slt

Cabaret Provocateur -

The Cabaret Provocateur is proud to present an intimate evening of smoldering, shimmering, and sinsational dance.

“Naked” Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 6 pm. “Naked” reveals seven acts: solo burlesque acts by seven different performers, plus two more exotic and evocative group acts. Staring the poised yet primal Anneke Sanchez, the tantalizingly tumultuous Rhonda, the juicy and jiggly Jojo, the frenetically fantastical Sami Chauveau, and the deliciously dangerous Kerri Fegte, and featuring the celebrated, scintillating Cyan, and the breathtakingly buff Chagen, Cabaret Provocateur has been entertaining audiences around the grid since January 2018. Expose yourself to this exhibit of bare sensuality and unconcealed fun. You’ll be glad you did.

  THEATER OF LIGHT

   at

          Rockcliffe University

 October 11, 18, 25th

12 Noon SLT

Isn’t autumn great!!  Or for our antipodal friends, isn’t spring great!!

Autumn is a time when, through a final blast of color, we see plants go into senescence, animals hibernate, and people unpack their sweaters and coats. Spring treats us to plant rebirth, reawakening of animals, dreams of summer warmth, and the hope of things to come.

We are part of an annual cycle of life that defines our landscapes and their people, and reminds us of the stones of time.

The “Stones of Time” are the subject of the Spirit Life Dance Company’s upcoming performance (October 11, 18, 25).  The dancers were given the unusual opportunity to interpret original music to portray resilient communities, their people and traditions, the transcendent spirit of ancestors, the promise of the future, and the importance of coming together to manage daily challenges.

Yes, it is a story of “us”—past, present, and future!

The story is told using the lyrics as a guide. The fifteen stones of time are revealed through dances such as “Frozen Fire,” “Fade into Darkness,” “Dagda,” “Oman,” “Thunder No Rain,” “November Wind,” “Redhaired Angel,” “Seanchai,” “Bard,” “Shinann,” “Time-Illusion,” “Fallen,” “Time and Tide,” “Honey Dreams,” and ultimately the “Circle of Life.”  Where will you find yourself in this story?  Which stones resonate so perfectly?

SLDC is a Second-Life dance company that brings together the artistic potential of virtual-world technology and the full range of choreographic styles.  The result often leaves audience members with an irrepressible desire to tap their feet . . . and even get up and dance.  All dances are live and driven in real time by the performers.  The SLDC is a company comprised solely of volunteers, including the choreographers, the set designers, the back-office personnel and, of course, the dancers.

Performance dates are October 11, 18, and 25.  Each show begins at noon, SLT, in the Rockcliffe University Auditorium.  The only cost of admission is your excitement about dance and a yearning to know how it reveals our essence, our feelings, and our transcendence.  You can do it!  Please join us!
