***Press Release - December 16, 2012***
We are pleased to announce the release of Spot On Choreography System 1.0
A Revolution in Movement
Designed by dancers for dancers. Now you can smoothly move around on stage, allowing far greater variation to your choreographed routines and performances using Spot On in conjunction with your favorite dance Hud or animations. For single or multiple avatars, routes can be made in a matter of minutes, complete with customized timing between positions, pauses, and smooth transitions in turns. Groups such as dance troupes can go in different directions, even up or down ramps and stairs, smoothly and all with a touch of a button or a simple chat command.
Initially the concept was for choreographed dance routines but the possibilities of application are endless. Machinina, plays, fashion shows, weddings, role playing, or any event where it's important to be on the right spot at the right time, without the jerky movements of so many movement design devices.

=====================
This is a new product that I have had an opportunity to test. It takes about 15 minutes to learn the set up system. After that I found it very easy to use. The system lets you design movements and position to give you easy control around a stage or club.
When used in conjunction with a dance HUD like the Barre or Huddles, you can set up sequences that not only determine the dance and timing but also position and movement. You simply put commands in your HUD sequences that announce in chat to activate the Spot-On. With the expected capability for managing multiple dancers doing different sequences in the upcoming Barre V4, this will give dancers and show producers a much easier way to manage a show. I suggest you get one and give it a try.
The Spot-On combined with a HUD does not give quite as much control as the DanceMaster Pro, but for most shows I think the Spot-On/HUD combination will be the management method of choice because of its ease of use, the fact that it's copyable and the use of a familiar HUD for dance control.
