If it’s Friday, it’s
Elysium Cabaret! Fancy some imagination in a fun social setting? In The
Empire Room at Copperhead Road, every Friday at 6pm SLT, the dynamic
performers of Elysium Cabaret take the stage to bring you a solid hour
of entertainment! Featuring elaborate sets, stunning costumes and
choreography sequenced to an eclectic genre of music, Elysium Cabaret
offers something for everyone.
This Friday is our monthly theme show. Our theme this month is PRIDE!
The month of June was chosen for LGBT Pride Month to commemorate the
Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result,
many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact
LGBTQI+ people have had in the world.
Pride Month is so important because it marks the start of huge change
within the LGBTQI+ community, as well as the wider societal
implications. We believe that every person/Avi should be welcome and
treated with respect.
Our goal with this show is to raise awareness, improve the attitudes
of society and encourage inclusiveness not just in our real lives but
here in Second Life as well.
