I love the Dance Shows, but grrrr those Time zones..
Hey everyone,
Second Life is a wonderful world to meet people all over the world.
That's really something I like a lot on SL.
You can live on the other side of the RL earth, but on SL you can dance together, or whatever you like to do together.
I always found that part very fascinating.
During my years on SL (and omg that's a long time...lol), I have met so many people.
Lots of interesting ones, some less interesting... but also good friends.
Some people come, others go.
Some you just like to forget as quick as possible, others you will remember for the rest of your life.
Everyone has their own interests to be on SL. I actually respect them all.
SL is the place to live your life, as you wish or dream to live.
For me, dance was always my passion.
On SL I found out at I can create dance shows and that has been my interest all my SL life.
I created Pink Lady Dancers after being a part of another dance group (New Brighton Belles) and started to make my own idea of shows.
Its something I like to do... and I love to do it my own way.
Some may like it, others don't. Most important is, at you like yourself what you do (that's my opinion)
I have seen lots of different dance shows. It's something I really like to see. I like to see the differences, creativity, fantasy... its often surprising again.
Some years ago, I arranged monthly Variety Shows (with success I have to say)
I have written that before....
There I really could see the creativity and fantasy grow with the years that passed by.
People learn, get ideas from others and make them till even better ideas.
I kinda miss it. I miss to see different kind of dancers/dance groups, doing shorter shows in a row.
Waterfront Theater arrange once a month (first Friday every month) a Variety Show with 15 minutes slots.
I have been to most of them... and it's really great to see those shorter, very different shows.
**BTW, you can still book yourself a slot for 3th July!!

Then we have the Time Zones!!
Grrrr what a bummer!!
How exciting it is, to meet people all over the world... The time zones sucks!!
At this moment, most scheduled dance shows on our DQ calendar, start from 5pm.
Grrr again... that's my 2 am in RL and even when I'm a "night owl", I need sleep as well.
Means at I never can see those (for me late) shows and of course I know I'm not the only one with this "problem".
But... we can not change that, it is how it is and we better make the best out of it ;o)

Idle Rogue Auditions
Idle Rogue Productions will hold auditions for Guerilla Burlesque (SL) on Saturday June 27. We are looking for both SOLOISTS (with good dance experience and a solid grasp of what live dance performance at an elite level will involve) and CORPS (trainees working towards a debut performance before the end of the year).
You will be required to construct and choreograph a performance to a designated song, and every audition will feature the same song. For more details, contact Chryblnd Scribe inworld.
Titanic
The Titanic departed on her first sailing to New York in April 1912. Jack and Rose's meeting blossomed into a bond that could never be broken but soon on that terrible day, the warning ICEBERG AHEAD was heard too late and within just three hours this beautiful ship was at the bottom of the ocean. Rose never gave up on Jack right to the very end.

Dance Queens notes, chats and more
Hey everyone,
I feel at I have to write this.
Dance Queens is a group for everyone who is interested in dance, shows and other dance relative things.
Everyone is welcome to join this group... and I mean EVERYONE!
You don't need to be a dancer, or joining a dance group. But of course all "we" deliver, is dance related.
We can offer some things to "help" you on the road.
* Our Calendar, where you can have your shows published.
* Group notes, where your show can be announced, or other dance relative announcements.
* Blog, where we can post some INFO about your upcoming shows, or if you have something else to share, some could be interesting for others who read the blog.
* Info center, in world, where you can find INFO at the different boards, online boards, to see who is online, mailbox, to send in your questions, add boards...
And all these services are FREE!!
No one will charge you for it and you can even (after making appointments about it) use the INFO center, for shows, rehearsals, classes etc.
Members are free to use the group chat, to announce their show or maybe they need help or have a question.
But there is something that bothers me...
We try to keep the spam low, when we all know, at when there is to much spam, people don't want to receive the chats or notes anymore.
So our goal is, to send out ONE group note a day and use the chat to announce a soon starting show, use it for a question or some help.
I also wrote some "rules" in the group header about that (please read)
What bothers me is, at people use the group to announce things, that has nothing to do with an upcoming dance show. What can be interesting for you, doesn't mean to be interesting for others... please don't forget that.
I'm sure, at we all are very proud of what we do, and even want to share that with others, but I don't think the chat is the right place for that.
When you announce your show, do it ONE time and not 2, 3, 4 times.
I even have seen it days before...
DON'T use the chat for that.
Send us a note card, with all your INFO about the show, poster, landmark... and we will post it on both Blog and Calendar.
Announce your show one time in chat, before your show starts.
If you would like to share something with others, then use the Dance Queens Center for it...
I made a gallery, where you can share pictures if you like. Help me to fill it up!! make it interesting!!
If you want to share video's about your show, send me the link and i will add it at the Gallery.
Lets use the Center more.. Its FREE!! I don't charge for that!!
The only thing that will cost, are the advertising boards.
But then again... It's 25 L a week, you support the DQ with it and you are free to add, change whenever you like.
